JEE Advanced 2024: In the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) in 2022, Swaroop Rathi achieved an all-India rank of 6,090. Rathi will now begin his fifth semester in the civil engineering department at IIT Madras, where he was accepted. Rathi, who is twenty-one years old, took the JEE in 2021 and 2022. On his second try at JEE Advanced, he was hoping for a higher score. On his first try, he scored about 6,500. If he had applied for admission to IIT Madras' naval architecture program or to IIT Roorkee's or IIT Kharagpur's metallurgical engineering program using his JEE Advanced rank from his first attempt, he would have been accepted. Nonetheless, he chose to specialize in civil engineering because of his fascination with the physics and mechanics of objects.
